Recently I had an interview for a very cool position. I’m not going to jinx it by giving away any details just yet but cross your fingers for me! The position is more on the creative side of things so I wanted to show my personally a bit but still be first interview professional. Now I’m a very girly girl most of the time so this rose print pencil skirt fit the bill perfectly. The peter pan collar makes the otherwise plain silk blouse much more interesting. And the pointed toe basic black pump make this staple shoe modern. I felt like I could take on the world! Wish me luck!!
It has been so fun going through all of our photos from our stay in Australia. I can’t believe we packed so much in! On our last day in Sydney, we walked and explored what felt like every inch. The Royal Botanic Gardens were really gorgeous! I could see why so many people were there (tourists and locals alike) just relaxing on the grass. We hunted for hours in the gardens looking for the humongous fruit bats I had seen during my last visit years ago. No luck. Sad! We did get a kick out of watching the eels in the main pond though. It was just too weird to see these long serpent creatures patrolling the edges! So long Australia. Until next time, I’ll be missing you.
On my days off work, I love hanging with my flowers in my little garden. Since I’m just renting and want to take my flowers with me when it’s time to go, it has turned into my little potted piece of paradise. I’ve been getting lots of bug visitors lately though. Viva spider season! I saw this green one catch a fly and a bee out of mid air! Freaky much? Um, Yes!
Here’s a little sampling of some of the flowers I’m growing currently.
I’ve talked about how much I love roses before and I’ve recently realized that I use it A LOT in my beauty routine. It makes me feel so feminine and sexy! I mean, the scent of a red rose basically has super powers in my mind! Do any of you have a scent that makes you feel wonderful?
